About the Role: Albert Bartlett is pleased to announce a secondment opportunity for the position of Dry Stores Supervisor at our Westwick site. This role offers a unique chance for career development and hands-on experience managing dry goods inventory in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of dry stores operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution of dry goods.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and manage stock levels to meet production demands.
- Supervise and lead a team of stores personnel, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
- Collaborate with production and procurement teams to ensure the availability of materials while minimizing excess inventory.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular audits to assess stock accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement best practices for efficient inventory management.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in a stores or inventory management role, preferably within a manufacturing or food production environment.
