Overview
Albert Bartlett is a progressive British family brand, established in 1948 and dedicated to providing quality potatoes for delicious meals. We are recruiting for a Production Planning & Admin role in our Operations team at our potato packing site in Boston, Lincolnshire.
Shift & Hours of work: 4 days on, 4 days off – Rolling Shift, 06:00 to 18:00. Salary: £13.99 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain production schedules in collaboration with the production team to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Coordinate with various departments to gather necessary data for accurate planning and administration.
- Monitor inventory levels and production output to manage stock effectively and avoid shortages or waste.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and dashboards for management to provide insights into production efficiency.
- Facilitate communication between teams regarding production schedules, adjustments, and resource allocations.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation related to production processes, schedules, and inventory management.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for efficiency gains within the production planning process.
Requirements
- Previous experience in production planning or administration, ideally within a manufacturing or food industry.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Proficiency in using planning and inventory management software (ERP knowledge is a plus).
- Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration across departments.
