We are currently looking for a dedicated Packaging Stores Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the management and organization of packaging materials within our stores, ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently.

The Packaging Stores Assistant will play a vital role in inventory management, stock replenishment, and maintaining a safe and orderly storage environment for all packaging materials. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the daily management of packaging stock, ensuring that all materials are stored properly and are easily accessible for the production team.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records to prevent shortages or excess stock.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to communicate packaging material needs and support reordering processes.
  • Ensure that all packaging materials are labelled correctly and maintained in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Support the delivery and distribution of packaging materials to the production lines in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and report on packaging material quality, addressing any issues with suppliers as needed.
  • Keep the packaging stores area clean and organized and adhere to workplace safety and hygiene standards.
  • Previous experience in inventory management or warehouse operations is preferred but not essential.
  • Valid Fork iIft- Counter balance licence
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills to liaise with various departments.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting.
  • Physical ability to lift and move packaging materials as required.
  • Willingness to adhere to health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Working Hours- Monday-Friday 9am-5pm- on Saturday a month paid at overtime
