Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a small grading team to ensure accurate and efficient grading of potatoes according to quality standards.
- Monitor output and quality, reporting any issues promptly to management.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations within the grading shed.
- Provide training, support, and guidance to team members.
- Ensure paperwork is completed on time and accurately (temperature checks, grading sheet etc.).
- Ensure accurate labelling of all boxes coming off the grader.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within a production or grading environment, preferably in the food industry.
- Good understanding of quality control and health and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet production targets.
