We are currently recruiting for a Forklift Operative working in our Backyard and Intake area at our potato packing site in Boston, Lincolnshire.
Shift & Hours of work: 4 days on, 4 days off – rolling shift, working 06:00hrs to 18:00hrs
Salary: £13.20 per hour
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport goods and materials within the production area and warehouse.
- Ensure accurate information is recorded on all paperwork and box tickets.
- Perform routine equipment checks and report any issues or required maintenance.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, contributing to a positive and productive atmosphere.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required to support overall operations.
- Valid Forklift Truck License is required.
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Physical fitness and capability to handle lifting and moving heavy items.
