We want Albert Bartlett to be a world famous household brand, renowned for quality and expertise in own label and branded potatoes and potato products.
We aim to be an innovative and improving company that exceeds our customers\’ expectations while operating in an environmentally responsible and sustainable way.
We are currently recruiting for a Forklift Operative working on our backshift at our potato packing site in Boston, Lincolnshire.
Shift & Hours of work: Sunday to Thursday – fixed shift, working 18:00hrs to 02:15hrs
Salary: £13.20 per hour (plus 50p per hour backshift premium)
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport goods and materials within the production area and warehouse
- Ensure accurate information is recorded on all paperwork and box tickets
- Perform routine equipment checks and report any issues or required maintenance
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment
- Collaborate effectively with team members, contributing to a positive and productive atmosphere
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required to support overall operations
Requirements
- Valid Forklift Truck License is required
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is preferred
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Physical fitness and capability to handle lifting and moving heavy items
- Commitment to following safety standards and procedures at all times
