What You\'ll Be Doing:
Lead and motivate the engineering team to ensure efficient maintenance and repair of production machinery specific to our chilled line
Develop and coordinate maintenance schedules to proactively prevent downtime, always keeping production goals in mind
Foster a safe working environment by promoting adherence to health and safety standards, making it a priority for the team
Be the go-to troubleshooter for diagnosing and resolving technical issues that may arise in our chilled production process
Encourage personal development within your team through training and support, helping them grow their skills and confidence
Collaborate with production management to ensure that equipment is meeting production needs and quality expectations
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and machinery performance to drive improvements and accountability
Requirements
A strong background in engineering, particularly within chilled or food production environments
Experience in a leadership role, capable of inspiring and developing a team
Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems in machinery, especially related to chilled products
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for engaging with staff and management alike
