We are currently in search of an Engineering Stores Person to join our team. This role will be instrumental in managing the inventory of engineering parts and supplies, supporting the maintenance team to ensure that all necessary materials are available for smooth operations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the engineering stores to maintain an accurate inventory of parts and supplies necessary for maintenance and repair activities.
  • Conduct regular stock checks, ensuring that inventory levels are appropriately balanced and reorder points are adhered to.
  • Receive and inspect incoming parts, ensuring they meet quality standards before storage.
  • Assist in issuing parts and materials to team members and document transactions accurately.
  • Maintain a clean and organized stores area, following health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to anticipate parts needs and support any urgent requests.
  • Utilize inventory management software to track stock levels and report on usage trends.
  • Previous experience in warehouse management or stores coordination, preferably in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while also being a team player.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with engineers and other team members.
  • Physical capability to handle and move stock as needed.
  • Willingness to adhere to health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Working Hours- Monday-Friday- 8.30AM-5PM
  • Hourly Rate- Β£16.03/hour
  • Full time- 38.75 hours a week
