We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative (Grading Shed) at our potato packing site in Boston, Lincolnshire.
Shift & Hours of work: 4 days on, 4 days off rolling shift pattern, working 6am to 6pm
Salary: £12.71 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Accurately grade potato products, ensuring that all products meet quality and weight specifications.
- Inspect products for any defects or quality issues, reporting any concerns to the supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the area, following all health and safety protocols.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets and deadlines.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in production or grading roles is advantageous, particularly in the food industry.
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety standards.
- Physical fitness is required, as the role will involve heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Positive attitude and a strong work ethic to contribute to a team-oriented environment.
