We want Albert Bartlett to be a world famous household brand, renowned for quality and expertise in own label and branded potatoes and potato products. We are currently recruiting for Packing Operatives at our potato packing site in Boston, Lincolnshire. As a Packing Operative you will be responsible for supporting production activity by packing finished bagged products into trays, crates and onto pallets. This is a physically demanding role which will require lifting and stacking of trays and boxes of varying weights up to 25KG. General other factory duties will also be required.
Shift Hours of work: 4 days on, 4 days off rolling shift pattern, working 6am to 6pm
Salary: £***** per hour
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pack finished potato products into containers, ensuring that all products meet quality and weight specifications.
- Inspect products for any defects or quality issues, reporting any concerns to the supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing area, following all health and safety protocols.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in production or packing roles is advantageous, particularly in the food industry.
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety standards.
- Physical fitness is required, as the role may involve lifting and standing for extended periods.
