We are currently seeking a skilled Wash Plant Supervisor to join our team on the backshift. In this critical role, you will oversee the wash plant operations during our backshift, ensuring that our processes meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
As a Wash Plant Supervisor, you will supervise a dedicated team, promote a safe working environment, and play a pivotal role in maintaining our reputation for excellence in the industry. If you’re passionate about food production and possess strong leadership qualities, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the wash plant team to ensure efficient operations.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards in the washing process, conducting regular inspections to maintain product integrity.
- Provide training and support to team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Manage equipment maintenance and troubleshoot any operational issues to minimize downtime.
- Document production metrics and report any discrepancies to management.
- Enforce health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the team.
Sunday 08:30 - 17:00, Monday to Thursday 16:30 - 01:00, & every 3rd Saturday (job & finish) £12.67 p/h + 50p p/h for all backshift hours Enhanced overtime rate.
Requirements- Proven experience in a supervisory role, especially in food production or manufacturing environments.
- Strong understanding of wash plant operations with a keen eye for detail.
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train team members effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to take initiative.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and management.
- Willingness to work backshifts and flexible with hours as needed.
