The Stock Controller for the Backshift will play a crucial role in managing our stock levels, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and supporting the smooth operation of our distribution processes. Your ability to maintain order and precision during the backshift will be essential in keeping our supply chain efficient and effective.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and coordinate the inventory management operations during the backshift, ensuring timely and accurate dispatch of stock.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock audits to identify discrepancies.
- Collaborate with other departments including logistics, production, and quality control to facilitate smooth operations.
- Work diligently to ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in stock management.
- Utilize inventory management software to track stock movements and generate reports as required.
- Assist in the development of strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.
- Experience in stock control, warehousing, or inventory management, particularly in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing stock records.
