Albert Bartlett is looking for a dedicated Quality Assurance professional to join our team for the Backshift. As a key member of our quality management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Your efforts will contribute directly to our mission of providing top-quality potato products that our customers can trust.

In the Quality Assurance role, you will oversee quality control processes during the backshift, monitoring production practices, conducting assessments, and providing guidance to promote a culture of quality throughout the organization.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular quality assessments of products and processes throughout the backshift.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company quality standards.
  • Lead and train the quality assurance team, providing necessary support and mentoring.
  • Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues in real-time and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of quality inspections and reports for management review.
  • Assist in preparing for internal and external audits, ensuring all necessary documentation is in place.
  • Encourage continuous improvement initiatives within the quality assurance department.

Working hours: Monday-Friday 15:30-00:00

Rate of pay: £12.67/hour plus shift allowance

Qualifications
  • Previous experience in quality assurance within a food production environment is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of food safety protocols and quality management systems.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software.
  • Ability to work effectively during backshift hours and be responsive to operational needs.
