Join our dynamic team at Albert Bartlett as a QA (Quality Assurance) professional for the Nightshift, working Sunday to Thursday! As a leader in the UK potato industry since 1948, we pride ourselves on delivering the highest quality products and maintaining rigorous standards in our production processes. In the QA role, you will be integral to ensuring that our products meet exceptional quality standards and are safe for consumption. You’ll work closely with production teams throughout the night to monitor processes, conduct tests, and implement quality controls that uphold our commitment to excellence.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting quality checks during production to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.
  • Sampling raw materials and finished products for analysis and documentation.
  • Collaborating with production staff to provide guidance on quality assurance best practices.
  • Keeping accurate records of quality inspections and reporting findings to management.
  • Participating in internal audits and helping to prepare for external audits.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and contributing to quality initiatives.
  • Ensuring that all food safety regulations are strictly adhered to during your shift.

Hourly rate- £12.67/hour plus shift allowance

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in quality assurance or control within the food industry is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality management systems.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent observational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously during the night shift and manage time effectively.
  • Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and report findings clearly.
