We are currently recruiting for Production Operatives (Wash Plant) at our facility in Airdrie. This role involves working on the wash plant, ensuring potatoes are washed and prepared appropriately for production. Full training will be provided for this position.

Shift & Hours of work: Sunday 0900 - 1700, & Monday to Thursday 1700 - 0100.

Salary: £12.71 per hour plus 50p per hour backshift premium.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor washing equipment to ensure potatoes are cleaned according to quality standards.
  • Carry out routine checks and maintenance of wash plant machinery to ensure efficient operation.
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness in the wash plant area.
  • Work collaboratively with the production team to meet daily targets and deadlines.

Requirements:

  • No previous experience necessary as full training will be provided.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Physically fit to handle standing for long periods and manual tasks.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work backshift hours reliably.
