Albert Bartlett, a trusted leader in the UK potato industry since 1948, is seeking a skilled NPD Process Technologist to join our innovative New Product Development team. This role is integral to translating new product ideas into efficient, scalable production processes while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

As an NPD Process Technologist, you will collaborate closely with R&D, Quality, and Production teams to design, optimize, and validate manufacturing processes for new products. Your expertise will help ensure that innovative concepts move smoothly from the development phase into full production, meeting both company and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and optimize production processes in line with new product development requirements.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to scale up product trials and ensure manufacturability.
  • Conduct process validation and troubleshooting during product launches.
  • Analyse process data to identify improvements in efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Prepare detailed process documentation, including standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  • Ensure all process activities comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Requirements:
