We’re looking for a Machine Operator / Machine Setter to join our friendly, fast‑paced production team on a Monday–Friday dayshift. What You’ll Be Doing
- Machine Setup & Calibration: Set up and calibrate production machinery in line with product specifications. Complete safe and efficient machine changeovers.
- Routine Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Carry out regular machine checks to maintain performance. Respond quickly to minor mechanical issues to reduce downtime.
- Quality Monitoring: Monitor production output to ensure all products meet quality standards. Make real‑time adjustments to maintain consistency.
- Accurate Record‑Keeping: Record machine settings, changes and production data clearly. Support quality assurance through accurate documentation.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow operators, setters and team leaders. Support a positive, smooth‑running production environment.
- Training & Safety: Assist with training new operators on machine operation and safety procedures. Follow all company health, safety and hygiene standards.
What We’re Looking For
You’ll excel in this role if you have:
- Experience as a Machine Setter, Machine Operator, Production Operative, or similar manufacturing role.
- Strong mechanical awareness and a hands‑on approach.
- Good attention to detail and problem‑solving ability.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Reliability and a positive attitude.
Experience in food production is helpful but full training will be provided.
