We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Graduate Financial Accountant to join our Finance team at our Airdrie headquarters.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience within a busy commercial finance function while working towards a professional accountancy qualification.
The Opportunity
This role will provide exposure to all areas of the finance department, helping you build a strong foundation in financial and management accounting within a dynamic manufacturing business.
You will work closely with experienced finance professionals and senior stakeholders across the business to develop your technical knowledge and commercial awareness.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with month-end and year-end financial reporting
- Supporting the preparation of management accounts
- Performing balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Supporting cash flow reporting and analysis
- Processing and analysing financial data
- Assisting with audit preparation and compliance requirements
- Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and controls
- Producing reports and analysis to support business decision-making
