As the Engineering Shift Manager for our chilled site, working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, you will play a vital role in managing the engineering team and ensuring the smooth running of all mechanical and electrical equipment during your shift. Your leadership will be key in maintaining high operational standards, minimizing downtime, and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the engineering team during your 4 on 4 off shifts, ensuring high performance and engagement.
- Oversee daily maintenance operations including preventive and reactive maintenance to maximize equipment availability.
- Drive health and safety compliance and promote a safety-first culture across the shift.
- Collaborate closely with production and quality teams to support operational goals and implement engineering solutions.
- Manage shift budgets, resources, and contractor activities efficiently and effectively.
- Identify areas for continuous improvement, recommending and implementing innovative engineering practices.
- Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of all engineering activities and performance metrics.
- Proven experience in an engineering management role within a chilled or food manufacturing environment.
