We're now recruiting a Chilled Production Team Leader to oversee our chilled operations across a Friday-Monday, 4-day working week. What You'll Be Doing
- Leadership & People Development
- Lead, motivate and support a chilled production team to deliver daily targets
- Foster a positive, engaging, and productive work environment
- Provide coaching, on‑the‑job training and guidance to new and existing team members
- Production Performance
- Oversee daily production schedules to meet customer demand
- Ensure all chilled products meet quality, specification, and presentation standards
- Monitor line performance and adjust staffing or workflow to maximise efficiency
- Quality, Hygiene & Safety
- Maintain strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures
- Support quality assurance protocols and reinforce best practice across the shift
- Escalate issues promptly and help build a culture of safety and accountability
- Continuous Improvement
- Use production data to identify areas for improvement
- Implement simple process enhancements that improve efficiency or product quality
- Act as the communication link between management and the production floor
What We're Looking For
- Experience as a Team Leader, Line Leader, Production Supervisor, or similar in food manufacturing
- Strong people‑leadership skills with the ability to motivate and engage diverse teams
- Good understanding of chilled food production or fast‑paced manufacturing
- A proactive approach, strong problem‑solving ability, and excellent communication skills
- Flexibility to work a 4‑day week including weekends
If you've led teams within FMCG, chilled environments, or high‑volume manufacturing — even better.
Shift Pattern — 4‑Day Week (Friday to Monday)
- Friday: 05:30 OR 06:30 start, 14:00 OR 15:00 finish
- Saturday: 05:30 OR 06:30 start, 17:30 OR 18:30 finish
- Sunday: 05:30 OR 06:30 start, 17:30 OR 18:30 finish
- Monday: 05:30 OR 06:30 start, 14:00 OR 15:00 finish
