As a Chilled Production Manager in Food Manufacturing, you will take responsibility for managing daily production operations, leading teams, and ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance across chilled food production lines.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing production team within a food manufacturing environment
- Plan and manage production schedules to meet customer demand and business targets
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards (BRC, HACCP), hygiene, and health & safety regulations
- Monitor and improve production KPIs (efficiency, waste, downtime, output)
- Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
- Manage labour, materials, and production resources effectively
- Work closely with Quality Assurance and Technical teams to maintain product standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve production line issues to minimise downtime
Requirements – Chilled Production Manager
- Experience as a Production Manager / Manufacturing Manager / Operations Manager
- Background in food manufacturing, FMCG, chilled food, or fresh produce production
- Strong understanding of food safety, HACCP, BRC compliance
- Experience managing teams in a high-volume production environment
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with continuous improvement / lean manufacturing is desirable
