Albert Bartlett is looking for an experienced FLT Intake Team Leader to join our busy Chilled operation in Airdrie. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated leader with forklift truck experience to take ownership of the Intake function, ensuring the smooth flow of raw materials into production while leading and developing a dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and support the Intake FLT team
- Ensure all raw materials and packaging are received and processed efficiently
- Coordinate stock movements to support production requirements
- Monitor team performance and provide coaching and guidance
- Maintain high standards of food safety, quality and housekeeping
- Carry out daily operational checks and ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures
- Support stock accuracy and inventory control processes
- Investigate and resolve operational issues within the Intake area
- Work closely with Production, Planning and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Previous Team Leader or supervisory experience within a manufacturing, warehouse or food production environment
- Valid Counterbalance FLT Licence
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience managing stock movements and material supply
- Good understanding of Health & Safety and food manufacturing standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise workload effectively
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
