The role

We are seeking an organised, professional and highly motivated Attendance and Admissions Administrator to join our administrative team. This is a key role within the school, responsible for leading on attendance and admissions processes, maintaining accurate pupil records and providing excellent administrative support to pupils, families and staff. The successful candidate will play an important part in ensuring statutory requirements are met, supporting pupil welfare and safeguarding, and helping to create a positive experience for all members of our school community.

What we are looking for:

  • An experienced administrator with excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Someone who can work accurately and efficiently in a busy school office environment
  • A professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who can build positive relationships with pupils, parents, staff and external agencies
  • Someone with strong ICT skills, including Microsoft Office and school management systems
  • The ability to maintain accurate attendance, admissions and pupil records
  • A proactive individual who can prioritise workloads, meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Someone who can analyse data and produce clear reports for leaders and governors
  • A person who understands the importance of confidentiality and handling sensitive information appropriately
  • Experience of working within a school environment and using SIMS or another Management Information System (desirable)
  • Knowledge of attendance procedures, admissions processes and safeguarding responsibilities within schools (desirable)
