The Training Coordinator is responsible for developing and overseeing the Academy Training Program for Access Services, Clinic Practice and Patient Engagement Center onboarding, as well as ongoing staff performance improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver dynamic instruction emphasizing patient‑centered customer service for Access Services staff, with a focus on healthcare preservice functions (Scheduling, Pre‑registration, Insurance Eligibility and Verification, Authorization and Referral Management) for Hospital and Practice.
- Coordinate the Academy Training Program with the training schedule for Hospital and Practice programs across multiple system applications.
- Develop, implement, and oversee training programs that enhance employees’ understanding of health insurance products, regulatory requirements, and customer service.
- Raise proficiency, build confidence, and develop interpersonal skills of trainees.
- Ensure access to sensitive information is based on need‑to‑know and follows HIPAA and state regulations.
Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of health insurance practices, regulatory requirements, and customer service.
