We have an exciting opportunity for health care employees or entry level candidates looking to join our Front Office team as an Administrative Support Associate (Albany Med Cardiology/ Non-Invasive Cardiology). Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Assist all patients that report to the front desk
  • Greet patients in a prompt, courteous and professional manner
  • Interact with a diverse patient population
  • Utilise the electronic medical record to maintain patient records via scanning or registration
  • Attend appointments, collect copayments, and other necessary information at time of check-in
  • Schedule follow up appointments and referrals as needed (check out)
  • Answer incoming phone calls and direct appropriately to team members

Requirements

  • All candidates must be fully vaccinated for COVID to be considered.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No experience required.
  • Excellent customer service skills preferred.
  • Experience using an electronic health record and Microsoft Office a plus!
