Responsibilities Overview Albany International presents the opportunity to manage and own activities within corporate accounting and financial reporting group. Position Description Manage company-wide month-end close activities, including coordination of journal entries, consolidation and issue resolution Manage financial reporting activities, including external SEC reporting. Be the company expert and critical resource of the Workiva platform for SEC filings. Manage certain technical accounting topics including, but not limited to, revenue recognition, lease accounting and ad-hoc accounting topics as they arise. Research, interpret, and apply accounting guidance Develop and implement accounting process change by analyzing current procedures and recommending changes. Take initiative to continually improve efficiency in accounting and reporting processes. Team-up with FP&A group to perform financial analysis on variances to business plan. Collaborate with corporate cost center owners to ensure appropriate accruals for vendors and outside service providers, including, but not limited pension and audit.
