This is a unique opportunity to join a lean, highly-skilled team that is pioneering a new era in digital entertainment.
As a Backend Engineer, you’ll play a key role in architecting and delivering the backend systems that underpin the company’s gaming platform, in Golang, Typescript, AWS Lambda, Eventbridge and Game Logic. This includes everything from indexing blockchain-based player and game data to integrating with third-party services for secure, high-volume transaction processing. You'll be working in a modern, serverless AWS environment and collaborating closely with smart contract developers and product stakeholders to bring cutting-edge features to life.
Key Responsibilities- Design, build, and maintain backend services using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, and EventBridge
- Implement core business logic for tracking balances, processing payouts, and triggering blockchain events
- Develop APIs that support the frontend, admin tools, and analytics systems
- Securely integrate with external crypto custody platforms
- Work closely with smart contract engineers to ensure alignment between on-chain and backend systems
- Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and observability solutions
- Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform (including versioned S3 backends across environments)
- Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and OIDC authentication
- Strong development experience in TypeScript or Go
- Deep understanding of serverless architecture within AWS
- Proven experience using Terraform and GitHub Actions in production environments
- Familiarity with event-driven design patterns and systems such as SQS and EventBridge
- Experience working with secure APIs, financial systems, or payment flows
- Sound understanding of cloud security best practices
- Confident working autonomously and building from the ground up
- Experience with L1 blockchains such as TON
- Knowledge of AWS multi-account setups and permission boundaries
- Background in crypto-native infrastructure
- Familiarity with the Telegram SDK
