The brief is to identify where AI and agentic automation can structurally reduce headcount growth, not just add efficiency at the margins. This is a land and expand model with real scope to define what this function becomes.
What you will be doing:
- Own the internal tooling roadmap from strategy through to delivery
- Run discovery with non-technical stakeholders and translate complex workflows into buildable specs
- Identify and prioritise AI and automation opportunities that structurally shift how the business operates
- Work hands-on alongside engineers using tools like Claude Code to prototype and shape solutions
- Represent the function to senior leadership and founders
- Deliver enablement and run workshops to drive adoption of new tools across internal teams
- Expand scope over time across CX, Compliance, Sales and Finance as you prove value in Ops

We are looking for:
- A technical product management background, ideally rooted in engineering
- Shipped AI powered or automation products in production, with evidence
- Ownership of tools used by non-technical internal teams such as ops, CX or back office
- Strong stakeholder skills: proactive, sociable, comfortable running discovery
- Hunger to build something from scratch rather than manage an inherited roadmap
- Experience in fintech, health tech or a regulated environment is a bonus
- Familiarity with agentic workflows, LLM integration or platforms like Zapier or Make is a plus
