Albany Beck is seeking a highly detail-oriented Programme Support Analyst to join our Change & Transformation Practice, supporting a leading Financial Services client based in London. This role sits at the centre of programme activity, supporting the Head of Change and wider delivery teams. It requires exceptional attention to detail, strong stakeholder engagement, and advanced capability in Excel and data handling. The successful candidate will take ownership of programme reporting, senior stakeholder materials, and data-driven insights, while ensuring consistency, accuracy, and quality across all outputs. Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to the Head of Change, including diary coordination, meeting preparation, and follow-ups.
- Support programme governance activities, ensuring adherence to frameworks and delivery standards.
- Coordinate meetings, capture structured notes, and track actions to completion.
- Produce high-quality programme reports (monthly and bi-weekly), covering status, risks, issues, milestones, financials, and dependencies.
- Perform detailed data analysis using Excel to identify trends, variances, and performance insights.
- Develop and maintain reporting packs and dashboards for senior stakeholders.
- Generate both recurring and ad hoc reports, including performance metrics and programme data.
- Use advanced Excel capabilities (e.g., VLOOKUPs, formulas, data validation, pivot tables) to manage and analyse programme data.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across multiple sources and reporting tools.
- Support financial tracking, resource allocation (FTE), and forecasting activities through structured data analysis.
- Maintain and enhance data models and trackers used across the programme.
- Create, format, and proofread high-quality PowerPoint presentations for senior stakeholders.
- Translate complex data into clear, concise, and visually effective outputs.
- Confidently engage with stakeholders across Business, Technology, and Change functions.
- Create and maintain SharePoint sites and programme content.
- Track actions and workflows using tools such as Asana.
- Support reporting through Clarity PPM and Power Platform tools (Power BI, Power Automate).
Key Skills & Experience
- 3+ years’ experience in Programme Support, PMO, or Change environments.
- Advanced Excel skills are essential, including strong experience with formulas, data analysis, and large data sets.
- Proven ability to analyse, reconcile, and interpret complex data to generate insights.
- Exceptional attention to detail, particularly in reporting, data accuracy, and pack creation.
- Advanced PowerPoint skills, with experience producing senior stakeholder materials.
- Strong experience with MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Experience supporting governance, reporting cycles, and programme coordination.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Experience
- Experience within Financial Services or regulated environments.
- Familiarity with Clarity PPM or similar PPM tools.
- Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, or wider Power Platform.
- Exposure to financial tracking, forecasting, and resource management.
- Understanding of change and transformation delivery frameworks.
