Albany Beck is growing its Change & Transformation Practice and is looking to hire a Finance Systems Analyst, with an immediate deployment opportunity onsite with one of our largest and most globally recognised Wealth Management clients, based in London. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical capability, advanced Excel skills, and an interest in finance systems, reporting, and data management. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring Finance teams have accurate, reliable, and timely data to support reporting, planning, and business decision-making. The role combines finance systems administration, data model management, reporting support, and troubleshooting across a range of platforms including TM1 (Planning Analytics), Power BI, Coupa, and financial reporting systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the administration and maintenance of finance systems and reporting data models
- Ensure finance-owned data structures remain accurate, logical, and aligned to business requirements
- Maintain finance master reference data, hierarchies, and mappings across reporting systems
- Support ongoing enhancements to finance reporting and control frameworks
- Support management reporting and financial planning processes within TM1 (Planning Analytics)
- Monitor and troubleshoot daily data loads and integrations
- Support ad-hoc analysis and reporting requests from Finance stakeholders
- Maintain user access controls and system documentation
- Assist with future TM1 development and enhancement activities
- Support the refresh, maintenance, and publishing of Power BI dashboards and reporting models
- Monitor overnight refreshes and troubleshoot data or reporting issues
- Ensure reporting outputs are accurate, timely, and aligned to stakeholder requirements
- Assist in improving reporting capability and automation across Finance
- Support month-end finance system activities and ledger maintenance
- Help maintain reporting hierarchies including GL, Cost Centre, Project, and Transit structures
- Ensure changes to finance data control frameworks are implemented accurately
- Contribute to maintaining strong financial reporting integrity and governance
- Monitor overnight integrations and system processes across finance applications
- Support troubleshooting and issue resolution across multiple finance systems
- Assist with regression testing and system upgrades where required
- Work closely with IT, Data, Operations, and Finance stakeholders to resolve issues and improve processes
