Client Deployment Role Description
Albany Beck is supporting a major banking transformation programme and is looking for a mid-level Treasury Manager to support the development of a new regulated banking entity.
The successful candidate will bring strong Corporate Treasury knowledge and support activity relating to the Credit Institution licence application, regulatory requests and the wider build-out of the Treasury function.
This role would suit someone with hands-on experience working within a bank Treasury function, with knowledge across liquidity, funding, balance sheet management, ALM, capital and Treasury governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Treasury workstream as part of a major banking transformation programme.
- Provide Treasury expertise to support the Credit Institution licence application.
- Assist with responses to regulator requests and Treasury-related information requirements.
- Support the development of Treasury policies, frameworks, controls and governance.
- Contribute to the design and build-out of the Treasury operating model.
- Support activity across liquidity, funding, ALM, balance sheet management and capital.
- Work closely with Finance, Risk, Regulatory Reporting, Tax and wider programme teams.
- Help identify Treasury risks, gaps and dependencies.
- Support preparation of documentation for regulatory engagement and senior governance forums.
- Ensure Treasury requirements are aligned with the wider regulatory and programme objectives.
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong experience working within a bank Corporate Treasury function.
- Good knowledge of liquidity and funding.
- Experience across ALM and balance sheet management.
- Understanding of capital and liquidity requirements.
- Strong knowledge of Treasury governance, controls and policies.
- Experience supporting regulatory change or regulatory requests.
- Ability to work across Treasury, Finance, Risk and Regulatory Reporting teams.
- Comfortable working in a complex transformation environment.
- Previous involvement in a banking licence or Credit Institution licence application.
- Experience helping establish a new bank, legal entity, branch or subsidiary.
- Experience dealing directly with regulators.
- Knowledge of LCR, NSFR and ILAAP.
- Experience with Treasury operating model design.
- Exposure to European banking regulation.
- Capital Markets or investment banking experience.
