About the Role
Albany Beck is supporting a major wealth management organisation on a large-scale client portal integration and digital transformation programme following a recent acquisition. We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to help drive the integration of digital platforms, client journeys, and operational processes across the newly combined organisation. This role will sit at the intersection of business, product, design, and technology teams, helping shape and deliver modern client-facing digital capabilities.
The successful candidate will bring strong digital transformation experience, excellent stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to translate business and design requirements into clear, technically aligned user stories and delivery outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Digital Transformation & Client Portal Integration
- Support the integration and transformation of client-facing digital platforms following a major acquisition
- Work closely with product, UX/UI, engineering, and business stakeholders to improve digital client experiences
- Help define and refine requirements across client onboarding, servicing, reporting, and portal functionality
- Contribute to the delivery of scalable and modern digital capabilities across the organisation
- Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering
- Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements across multiple workstreams
- Review product and design outputs and translate them into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria
- Ensure requirements are clearly articulated for engineering and development teams
- Bridge communication between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams
- Technical & API Collaboration
- Engage with architects and engineering teams around system integrations and API-driven functionality
- Participate in technical discussions and understand how systems and platforms interact
- Translate technical concepts into business-friendly language and vice versa
- Support delivery teams by ensuring requirements align with technical implementation needs
- Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships across business, technology, product, and operations teams
- Work within a complex, matrixed environment undergoing significant transformation
- Support workshops, requirements sessions, and cross-functional collaboration initiatives
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst within digital transformation programmes
- Strong experience working on client portal, digital platform, or customer experience initiatives
- Ability to create high-quality user stories, functional specifications, and technical requirements
- Comfortable working closely with developers and understanding technical language and system architecture discussions
- Experience working within API-led or integration-focused environments advantageous
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience within wealth management, private banking, financial services, or enterprise digital transformation environments preferred

- Has strong digital and client-facing transformation experience
- Can bridge the gap between business, design, and engineering teams
- Is comfortable operating in technically complex environments without being hands-on technical
