Albany Beck is working with a leading organisation in the insurance and financial services sector to support a major transformation agenda. We are looking for a PMO Analyst to join a high-performing Transformation function and play a key role in driving the successful delivery of a complex change portfolio.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at portfolio level, thrives on data and insight, and wants to build strong exposure to governance, reporting and delivery within large-scale change environments.
The Role
As a PMO Analyst, you will support the successful execution of projects and programmes across the change portfolio. Youβll provide analysis, reporting, coordination and governance support, ensuring projects follow agreed delivery methodologies and that performance, risks and financials are clearly understood by stakeholders. You will also play an active role in continuously improving PMO processes and ways of working to enhance overall change delivery effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of projects and programmes across the change portfolio, providing analysis, insight and coordination
- Track and analyse project performance, maintaining accurate and up-to-date project data
- Produce high-quality reporting for senior stakeholders and governance forums
- Support financial monitoring, including budget tracking, forecasting, invoicing and third-party spend
- Assist with project planning, risk and issue management, dependency tracking and lessons learned
- Support portfolio-level analysis to identify trends, risks and capacity constraints
- Contribute to the effective running of PMO governance and change oversight committees
- Maintain and improve PMO templates, standards and guidance
- Manage PMO administration, collaboration tools and communication channels
- Work closely with project managers and delivery teams to ensure consistency and transparency across the portfolio
Skills & Experience
- Experience working in a PMO, Change or Transformation environment
- Strong analytical skills, with experience handling project, portfolio and financial data
- Good understanding of project and change management methodologies
- Experience producing clear, insightful reports for a range of stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret and explain data
- Experience with resource planning, capacity tracking or allocation is desirable
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
- Exposure to PMO or project frameworks within financial services is highly desirable
