Albany Beck is seeking a Delivery Support Manager to support the ongoing growth and success of our consultant base across key client accounts. This role is central to ensuring high levels of Consultant performance, engagement, and well-being, while also strengthening client relationships and identifying commercial growth opportunities. The successful candidate will act as a key interface between Consultants, Clients, and internal stakeholders, ensuring service excellence, effective communication, and alignment to Albany Beck’s strategic objectives. This role requires a balance of people management, client engagement, and commercial awareness, with a proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Manage an allocation of Consultants, conducting regular performance reviews, including monthly well-being and career conversations.
- Own and deliver the Albany Beck Performance Cycle for assigned Consultants.
- Manage the full probation lifecycle, including structured monthly 1:1 onboarding support.
- Handle disengagements and terminations in line with company processes.
- Run bi-weekly group catch-ups on client site to understand project progress, challenges, and opportunities.
- Conduct monthly client check-ins to review Consultant performance, address concerns, and identify development needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders to ensure a high standard of service delivery.
- Report key insights and updates to Delivery, Business Management, and Sales teams.
- Ensure internal systems and Consultant records are accurate and up to date.
- Support Account Managers with client engagement initiatives, including social events to enhance Consultant integration.
- Leverage Consultant relationships to identify opportunities for on-site client growth.
- Promote internal initiatives (e.g. Partnership Programme) to drive network-based business development.
- Gather commercial insights, leads, and referrals from Consultants and share with the Sales team.
- Support Sales with strengthening client relationships and facilitating new client introductions.
- Identify bench risks and proactively support redeployment opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Business Manager on ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives.
- Engage effectively with internal stakeholders including Delivery, HR, Finance, Sales, and Talent Acquisition.
- Proven experience in a people management, engagement, or client-facing role within a consultancy or professional services environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- High emotional intelligence with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Experience supporting performance management and development conversations.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high standard of service delivery.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across all levels.
- Experience within Financial Services or consulting environments.
- Exposure to performance management frameworks and employee lifecycle processes.
- Project management experience or involvement in change initiatives.
