Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support the delivery of a portfolio of strategic and regulatory initiatives for a leading financial services client. This role will focus on driving high-quality requirements definition, stakeholder alignment and supporting execution across multiple concurrent programmes. You will play a critical role in ensuring regulatory compliance while enabling successful delivery across complex change initiatives. The position offers the opportunity to work across key European regulatory frameworks and contribute to large-scale transformation programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements & Analysis
- Lead the end-to-end requirements lifecycle, from elicitation through to validation
- Produce high-quality documentation including BRDs, user stories, process flows and data models
- Conduct gap analysis (as-is vs. target state)
- Ensure requirements align with regulatory obligations and business objectives
- Stakeholder Management
- Interface with business, product and technology teams across multiple workstreams
- Facilitate workshops and drive stakeholder engagement and sign-off
- Identify, escalate and manage risks, issues and dependencies
- Delivery Support
- Support multiple programmes in parallel within a fast-paced environment
- Ensure requirements are delivery-ready, clearly defined and traceable
- Collaborate with development and QA teams
- Support UAT, defect management and resolution
- Governance & Control
- Maintain full traceability of requirements for audit readiness
- Contribute to RAID logs, decision tracking and programme governance frameworks
- Ensure adherence to best practice and regulatory standards
Key Experience
- Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst within financial services
- Strong regulatory change experience, including:
- MiFID
- Solvency II (TPT/QRT)
- Dutch regulatory frameworks (FTK, MER, MESRAP, CCI)
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Strong requirements gathering, data analysis and documentation skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication capabilities
Desirable Experience
- Experience within asset servicing, custody or fund administration environments
- Exposure to data mapping and SQL
- Experience working with global teams and third-party vendors
