Albany Beck are seeking a highly skilled Business Process Analyst to join our team, working on a long-term digital transformation programme with one of our largest wealth management clients. This role focuses on a client portal project aimed at providing their clients across the banking and investments product range with a single web/mobile portal experience. This will be working on the business side of the digital transformation programme.

Role Overview: As a Business Process Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of the digital transformation initiative. You will work closely with stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to capture requirements, define business processes, and ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet the client’s objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the business analysis workstream for the client portal project.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document business requirements.
  • Translate business needs into clear and concise functional specifications.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings to gather insights and drive alignment.
  • Develop process models, use cases, user stories, and workflow diagrams.
  • Map and analyse current-state business processes across key areas of the organisation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify pain points, inefficiencies, and automation opportunities.
  • Define and document future-state processes aligned with digital tools and platforms.
  • Support the delivery of transformation initiatives by ensuring process design aligns with business goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with product owners to prioritize requirements and manage backlogs.
  • Support the development and testing teams by clarifying requirements and ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Identify risks, issues, and dependencies, and provide proactive solutions.
  • Contribute to change management activities, ensuring smooth adoption of new systems and processes.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst in digital transformation programmes, ideally within the wealth management or financial services sector.
  • Strong background in client portal projects or similar digital platforms.
  • Strong understanding of process mapping methodologies (e.g. BPMN) and tools (e.g. Visio, Lucidchart).
  • Experience in digital transformation programmes, preferably involving CRM, workflow automation, or client onboarding solutions.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Proficient in business analysis tools and techniques (e.g., process mapping, user stories, jira).
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in the financial sector is a plus.
