Key Responsibilities
- Client Delivery & Stakeholder Management
- Lead and coordinate delivery of T+1 programme workstreams across multiple operational and technology stakeholders.
- Manage end-to-end client questionnaire and outreach activity, consolidating responses from SMEs and ensuring high-quality, timely submissions.
- Drive governance and stakeholder engagement activities, including steering committee materials, impact assessments, risk tracking, and programme readiness reporting.
- Coordinate cross-functional engagement across operations, FX, network management, technology, and external vendors.
- Support senior stakeholders with funding discussions, delivery planning, and regulatory readiness initiatives.
- Market & Industry Expertise
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of T+1 settlement reform and associated operating model impacts across custody and settlements, Standard Settlement Instructions (SSIs), sub-custodian and CSD networks.
- Engage with external market infrastructure participants, vendors, and industry working groups to support strategic decision-making.
- Analyse industry frameworks, market guidance, and regulatory developments to inform programme delivery and client communications.
- Support assessment of vendor solutions aimed at improving settlement efficiency, SSI validation, and operational risk reduction.
- Produce high-quality business analysis documentation including impact assessments, requirements gathering, process analysis, readiness reporting, governance materials, and executive presentations.
- Develop and track programme actions, dependencies, and risks across complex delivery environments.
- Contribute to external engagement strategies involving sub-custodians, CSDs, and market counterparties.
- Knowledge Sharing & Thought Leadership
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, programme alignment, and client messaging through delivery playbooks, FAQs, and thought leadership materials.
- Support development of reusable templates and delivery approaches to improve consistency across engagements.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing delivery culture.
Required Experience
- Proven experience delivering change within financial services operations or markets infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of T+1 settlement initiatives and post-trade operating models.
- Experience working with custody, settlements, FX, SSI management, or securities operations teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional SMEs and manage competing priorities in fast-paced delivery environments.
- Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and external vendors.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and presentation skills.
