Class 2 Truck Driver – ALBA Tyre Management (Scotland)
Due to further growth, ALBA Tyre Management is looking to recruit a Class 2 (18 Tonne Rigid) Truck Driver to join our team. The job would start on the 1st week in January and is a permanent position.
This is a great opportunity for a motivated and outgoing individual who enjoys being on the road and interacting with customers. The role involves handling commercial tyres, so a reasonable level of physical fitness is required.
What the role involves:
Driving an 18T rigid truck across the central belt of Scotland, with occasional UK-wide trips.
Customer-facing work, delivering and collecting commercial tyres.
Occasional overnight stays (all expenses covered).
Monday to Friday, 42-hour week – no weekend work.
All safety equipment and PPE provided.
What we\'re looking for:
Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence with up-to-date CPC.
A professional and friendly attitude with excellent customer service skills.
Reliability, good timekeeping, and willingness to work as part of a team.
Physical fitness to manage tyre handling safely.
