Overview
We are seeking a controls-focused specialist to support a high-profile workstream within Group-wide Technology Resilience uplift initiative. The role centres on strengthening Technology Controls and developing resilience-focused KPIs, as part of a programme to close a significant Internal Audit point related to the Technology Resilience Maturity Framework (TRMF).
Key Responsibilities
- Controls Design and Uplift: Lead the review, design, and enhancement of technical controls to support improved technology resilience.
- Resilience KPI Development: Define, refine, and embed KPIs that demonstrate measurable improvements in resilience capability over time.
- Technology Resilience Reporting: Support the development of a group-wide Technology Resilience Report, linking KPIs to technical vulnerabilities.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work with control owners, architecture, and engineering teams to validate control effectiveness and agree uplift plans.
- Project Support: Collaborate with the project manager and offshore BAs (based in Poland) to ensure delivery of the workstream.
Required Experience
- Familiarity with governance structures, control frameworks, and organisational processes.
- Deep expertise in Technology or Operational Risk Controls, ideally within complex financial services environments.
- Proven experience embedding controls during the design, architecture, and engineering phases of technology delivery.
- Strong understanding of Operational Resilience and its application within technology domains.
- Solid grasp of IT infrastructure and systems, sufficient to understand dependencies and risk exposure.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Technology Resilience Maturity Framework (TRMF).
- Experience supporting audit remediation or regulatory closure programmes.
- Exposure to preparing Board- or Executive-level risk and controls reporting.
