Job Summary
Our friendly, supportive and hard working practice is now looking for a competent, reliable and resilient person to join our team of receptionists/administrators.

This is a busy and demanding role which would suit someone with exceptional organisational and multitasking skills. You should have excellent communication skills, a high degree of customer focus and basic computer literacy. Experience within a medical practice with knowledge of EMIS and Docman would be an advantage, but is not essential as full training will be provided.

The job will primarily require you to be responsible for liaising with patients by telephone and face to face, appointing them within the surgery or signposting them to suitable clinical colleagues. You will be involved in all day to day running of a busy reception area including all associated admin tasks.

Your ability to use your initiative, work under pressure and be an effective part of a small team is essential. Flexibility is required to assist in covering holidays or other absence.

28.5 hours per week 3 or 4 days as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From £12.21 per hour

Education:

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

  • Medical Receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
