We’re looking for a hands‑on Senior Regional Marketing Contractor to own and execute EMEA marketing programs during a critical period of growth. You’ll be the primary marketing partner for our EMEA Sales leadership, driving pipeline, managing the regional ABM program, and ensuring Alation’s brand and message land powerfully across key European markets. This is not a strategy‑only role; you’ll build and run programs, manage agencies, partner closely with Sales, and report directly to the Senior Director of Product and Regional Marketing based in the US. This London‑based contractor role supports our local and global team 2‑3 days per week for 6 months (with possible extension).
- Pipeline & Demand Generation
- Translate global campaign strategy into locally relevant EMEA programs that drive measurable pipeline
- Execute the regional ABM program—account selection, messaging localization, agency coordination, and performance tracking
- Partner closely with EMEA Sales leadership to align marketing activity to pipeline priorities and territory plans
- Manage post‑event lead conversion in collaboration with Sales Ops
- Events & Field Marketing
- Own the EMEA events calendar—from strategic third‑party conferences to hosted executive roundtables
- Manage event logistics, vendor relationships, and agency partners end‑to‑end
- Build a results‑oriented event framework with clear pipeline ROI measurement per program
- Represent Alation at key industry events across the region; travel required
- Customer & Expansion Marketing
- Support customer marketing programs targeting expansion accounts in EMEA
- Partner with Customer Success to identify advocacy opportunities and develop regional proof points
- Localise global customer stories for EMEA buyer relevance content & messaging
- Localise global messaging and content for EMEA audiences, verticals, and buying personas
- Ensure inbound and outbound content is themed and synced to campaigns and events
- Feed regional market intelligence back to the global PMM team
- Reporting & Operations
- Manage regional marketing budget with clear ROI accountability
- Track and report pipeline influence, account engagement, and program performance
- Maintain a consistent reporting cadence with Sales and Marketing leadership
Must‑Have
- 7+ years of B2B marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a regional or field marketing role covering EMEA
- Proven track record driving pipeline growth in partnership with enterprise Sales teams
- Hands‑on ABM experience—strategy, execution, and measurement
- Experience managing agencies and event vendors across multiple European markets
- Strong commercial instincts—thinking in pipeline and revenue, not just campaign metrics
- Ability to operate independently in a fast‑moving, matrixed US‑headquartered SaaS company
- Based in or near London with ability to travel across EMEA for key events
