The role

As a Senior Benefits Operations Coordinator, you will lead the delivery of our employee benefits, ensuring an excellent employee experience through efficient administration, strong governance and effective vendor management. You will be the team’s expert on benefits operations, driving continuous improvement, enhancing reporting and controls, and developing scalable, best-practice processes.

Key responsibilities

  • Owning the day-to-day delivery of employee benefits, ensuring accurate and efficient administration across enrolments, life events and leavers
  • Managing the employee benefits portal and supporting the delivery of benefits projects and system enhancements
  • Acting as the escalation point for complex benefits queries, working with internal stakeholders and external providers to resolve issues
  • Managing relationships with benefits providers, monitoring service delivery and driving continuous improvement
  • Leading benefits invoicing and maintaining high levels of data integrity across HR systems and vendor platforms
  • Supporting annual benefits activities, including system updates, testing and operational change initiatives
  • Developing and maintaining benefits processes and documentation to support consistent, scalable operations
  • Partnering closely with HRIS, Payroll, Finance, Reward and external vendors to improve reporting, automation and data integration
  • Supporting operational planning, governance, vendor performance and strategic benefits initiatives
  • Providing benefits expertise, reporting and insight to support decision-making, identify operational risks and improve the employee experience

Who are we looking for?

  • Significant experience administering employee benefits within a complex HR Operations or Reward environment
  • Strong understanding of benefits governance, compliance and operational best practice
  • Experience managing third-party vendors and service providers, including issue resolution
  • Strong systems capability, with experience using HRIS platforms and benefits administration systems
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build effective working relationships across multiple functions
  • Demonstrated experience leading operational improvements, process optimisation and change initiatives
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
