A highly regarded and well-established food manufacturing business based in Knaresborough is looking to appoint a Production Shift Manager to join their growing team. The Role

Reporting directly to the Production Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of your shift, leading a team through 4 direct reports. You will ensure operational excellence across key areas including safety, service, food standards, people development, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop your team to deliver high performance
  • Ensure strict adherence to health & safety and food safety standards
  • Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Build and execute effective production plans to meet customer demand
  • Maintain high service levels and on-time delivery performance
  • Support training and development across the production team

About You

  • Proven experience in a production or shift management role within manufacturing
  • Food manufacturing experience is highly advantageous
