Job Title: Site Services Refrigeration Engineer Location: North Norfolk Salary: £52,860 (Days, Monday – Friday) Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Site Services Refrigeration Engineer to join a well-established food manufacturing site in North Norfolk. In this role, you will be responsible for the preventative maintenance of the site’s refrigeration systems, ensuring reliability, compliance, and cost-effective operation. You will also contribute to wider site services engineering support, drive improvements in performance, and support projects and initiatives as required by senior management. Responsibilities: You will carry out planned and preventative maintenance on refrigeration systems and associated site services, ensuring efficient and reliable operation. This includes routine checks, monitoring water treatment systems, completing maintenance records, and responding to breakdowns. You will maintain safe working practices, ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards, and support continuous improvement across the site. The role also includes mentoring apprentices, supporting projects, and contributing to KPI and performance improvements. Qualifications & Experience: A recognised apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering is essential, with proven experience in refrigeration and site services. You will have strong problem-solving skills, technical ability, and a proactive approach to preventative maintenance. Experience within FMCG manufacturing and knowledge of water treatment and utilities would be highly advantageous.
