We’re looking for an experienced Production Manager to join an established and growing food processing business near Glasgow. The Opportunity Our client, a prestigious and well-regarded food processing business, is looking to appoint an inspirational Shift Production Manager to join their successful team. With an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality food products to both food service and retail customers, this is a company that continues to thrive and expand. As Shift Production Manager, you\’ll be the driving force behind the site\’s production from goods-in to goods-out. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you\’ll oversee the daily operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety across all areas of the production process. What You’ll Be Doing: * Lead a team of up to 70 production staff, ensuring they are motivated, focused, and performing at their best * Ensure the smooth running of the production process from start to finish – from goods-in to goods-out * Drive and exceed KPIs while maintaining a focus on product quality and efficiency * Develop and implement systems to support the growth and future development of the business * Be hands-on, with a keen eye for detail to identify areas for improvement and continuous development * Create an empowering and positive culture that encourages growth and development among your team * Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless, efficient production process What We’re Looking For: Our ideal candidate will have substantial experience in leading production teams within food manufacturing or a similar fast-paced industry. You will be a natural people manager with a strong track record in driving performance, achieving and exceeding KPIs, and building high-performing teams.
