Job Title: Sales Admin Support Location: Nelson Salary: Up to £30,000 + benefits Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent A well-established business in the food industry is seeking a highly organised and proactive Sales Admin Support to join their fast-paced sales team. This role is the operational backbone of the sales function, providing essential administrative, pricing, and reporting support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and excellent customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately raising and tracking customer sales orders from receipt to dispatch, working closely with internal planning and dispatch teams to ensure timely fulfilment. They will maintain and update customer price files with precision, and support customer meetings, tenders, and pitch packs by preparing professional documentation and data. This role also involves preparing weekly sales dashboards and performance reports for Account Managers, coordinating customer sample requests and technical documentation, and handling routine customer correspondence such as chasing purchase orders, confirming bookings, and sending updates. Success in this role means reducing the administrative burden on Account Managers, enabling them to focus on strategic sales activities and customer relationship building. It also means ensuring accurate and timely order processing, flawless execution of pricing and promotional activities, and providing professional, data-driven support for customer meetings. Candidates should have proven experience in a fast-paced administrative or sales support role, strong GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics, and high proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities are essential. The ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and take initiative is key.
