Our client is a growing and highly respected business within the pet products sector, supplying premium pet treats to retailers across the UK. Due to continued expansion, they are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and commercially minded Territory Sales Manager to manage and develop accounts across Yorkshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven sales professional who enjoys building relationships, winning new business and developing existing accounts within an established territory.
The Opportunity
As Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of independent retailers, pet stores, garden centres and franchise operations throughout Yorkshire. You'll work closely with customers to maximise sales opportunities, strengthen existing relationships and identify new business prospects within your territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing retail customers.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across Yorkshire.
- Conduct regular customer visits to drive sales growth and product visibility.
- Introduce new products, promotions and merchandising initiatives.
- Increase product distribution and maximise account potential.
- Work with franchise operators to support business growth.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and secure new listings.
- Monitor market activity and competitor developments.
- Maintain accurate customer records and activity reporting through CRM systems.
- Deliver against agreed sales and performance objectives.
About You
Ideally you will have a minimum of 2 years customer facing experience, however we are also keen to hear from individuals who would like to embark in a career in sales.
