Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer – North Manchester £42,000 – £45,000 + Premium Van + Overtime + 25 Days Holiday + Pension Company Overview A well-established northern-based contractor specialising in the design, installation, and maintenance of air conditioning and refrigeration systems. The company has grown significantly over the past four years, now turning over approximately £12 million and securing long-term framework agreements with public sector, commercial, and manufacturing clients. Role Summary You will operate as a mobile service and maintenance engineer across the North West region and over to Yorkshire. Your responsibilities will include planned and reactive maintenance of: * VRF systems * VRV systems Sites include commercial offices, industrial buildings ,power stations and large commercial buildings . This is a specialist air conditioning role — you will not be expected to carry out general facilities maintenance such as plumbing, building fabric repairs, or basic electrical work. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (40 hours per week). Candidate Requirements * Apprentice-trained and fully qualified air conditioning engineer * F-Gas Category 1 certification is essential * Strong experience in fault finding and maintenance of VRF/VRV systems * Solid understanding of HVAC and refrigeration systems Salary & Benefits * Basic salary: £42,000 – £45,000 * Brand new Ford Transit Connect (premium spec) – available for personal use (personal mileage paid by employee) * Overtime paid at 1.5x after 9 hours per day * 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays * Company pension scheme * Travel: 30 minutes at brginning of the day is unpaid; all travel time beyond 30 minutes is paid at time and a half
