Are you an experienced Management Accountant looking to make a real impact in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We are looking for a commercially minded finance professional to partner with site leadership and drive performance and growth.
About the Role
You will play a key role in supporting operational and financial performance across a busy manufacturing site producing up to 900k packs per week, with annual sales exceeding £50m. Working closely with operations and central finance teams, you will provide insight, challenge, and support to improve efficiency, control costs, and drive profitability.
What You Will Be Doing
- Delivering actionable insights on daily and weekly performance
- Partnering with operations to improve efficiencies and reduce costs
- Supporting product costing and new business opportunities
- Producing accurate weekly and monthly accounts
- Driving cost control and margin improvement initiatives
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and inventory management
What We Are Looking For
- Strong experience as an accountant in a manufacturing setting (essential)
- Proven ability to influence and partner with operational teams
- Commercial mindset with a focus on performance improvement
- Confident communicator who can work both independently and collaboratively
- (Formal qualifications such as CIMA/ACCA are welcome, but not essential if you bring the right experience.)
