Reporting to the Shift Manager, you will take responsibility for leading a production team, ensuring the daily production plan is achieved safely, efficiently, on time and to the required quality standards. Key responsibilities will include: Leading, motivating and developing your production team Delivering production plans on time, in full and to specification Driving KPIs including OEE, yield, waste, productivity and plan attainment Managing labour planning, attendance, performance and engagement Ensuring food safety, HACCP, GMP and health & safety standards are maintained Driving continuous improvement and supporting site improvement projects Ensuring machinery and production processes operate efficiently Working closely with Technical, Engineering and other departments Maintaining high standards of quality, compliance and factory performance The Candidate
We are looking for an experienced people manager with a background in food manufacturing, FMCG or another fast-paced production environment. You will ideally have: Previous experience leading teams within a manufacturing environment Strong people management and communication skills Knowledge of HACCP, BRC, hygiene and health & safety standards Experience of managing production KPIs and driving improvements An understanding of Lean manufacturing principles A hands-on, positive leadership style with the ability to motivate and develop others This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful food manufacturing business offering a competitive package and genuine opportunities for further career development.
